Artis Hicks has signed a three year deal with the Washington Redkins, marking the second day in a row that the Vikings lost a free agent to another team.

The deal is reported to be worth about $9 million and Hicks will have a chance to compete for a starting spot at right guard.

If the Vikings don’t sign any Unrestricted Free Agents this offseason (exluding restricted players or players who are cut) they may be in a position to recieve compensation draft picks for both Chester taylor and Artis Hicks in the 2011 draft.
